12-Day Catholic Pilgrimage to Portugal, Spain, France, and Rome
October 19–30, 2026
This spiritually enriching trip will take us through Portugal, Spain, and France, concluding in Rome with an audience with the new Holy Father.
This will be a smaller group capped at 25 people.
Unlike many other pilgrimages, it will be a lot more laid back with plenty of time to rest, pray, and explore.
Itinerary overview
We will visit major shrines and holy places associated with saints, Marian apparitions, and centuries of Catholic devotion:
Lisbon, Portugal – Visit the birthplace and baptismal font of St. Anthony of Padua.
Fátima, Portugal – Pray at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, site of the 1917 Marian apparitions.
Alba de Tormes, Spain – Venerate the tomb of St. Teresa of Ávila. She is one of the Church’s greatest teachers of prayer, and a favorite of Fr. Jordan.
Ágreda, Spain – Visit the incorrupt body of Venerable Mary of Ágreda, mystic and author of The Mystical City of God. She is especially important to our Parish because she allegedly appeared to the Humano Indians in our area to teach them the Gospel before the Spanish Missionaries arrived.
Lourdes, France – Spend three days at the world-renowned shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes for prayer, processions, and time for spiritual healing.
Rome, Italy – Attend the Wednesday Papal Audience to see the first American Pope and visit the major basilicas of the Eternal City. There will be an extended time for prayer and exploration in the Vatican. Fr. Jordan will also lead optional outings to some of his favorite gelaterias and cafes.
Spiritual focus
This is more than just a tour—it is a pilgrimage of the heart. Along the way, we will have daily opportunities for:
Holy Mass
Prayer and reflection
Time at shrines for personal intentions, confession (when available), and devotions
Our goal is to travel as pilgrims: seeking renewal, deepening faith, and drawing closer to Christ through the intercession of Our Lady and the saints.
